Hi all
I have used hostmon for years on version4 and now want to upgrade to Version 9
Recently we have decided to make more use of it and are setting up a large flat screen so we can keep an eye on things a bit more that just waiting for an email alert.
Problem we have is we have a huge number of tests and won't be able to see them all on screen so is there a way of getting it to cycle the view through the test folders?
thanks in advance
Scrolling Views
Sorry, I do not understand what means "getting it to cycle the view through the test folders".
If you want to see all tests on one screen, I think SuperMatrix window is the best option (menu View).

Another possible solution - display only Bad and/or Unknown test items using custom View

The Views look great however Our list of tests in the root view are too long and if I split them off into different views they would have to be manually changed to see whats going on in detail as we have this displayed on a wall mounted tv screen we wanted it to automatically scroll between the views so we could just glance at the screen and see everything in green for peace of mind.
also the Subfolder headings don't appear in views
Not a real problem but we had used this to identify which site items were on.
here is a screenshot example of one of the folder veiws how we have it layed out

Views allow you to select tests based on various conditions, e.g. show only Bad tests so you will see all "Bad" items on one screen. What is there reason to look at "green" tests? The Views look great however Our list of tests in the root view are too long and if I split them off into different views they would have to be manually changed to see whats going on in detail as we have this displayed on a wall mounted tv screen we wanted it to automatically scroll between the views so we could just glance at the screen and see everything in green for peace of mind
Possible workaround - use one of comment lines to show folder where test items located. E,g, you may type %folder% variable in comment line #5 and setup View to display this field.also the Subfolder headings don't appear in views

BTW: HM Script allows you to set specific comment line for set of tests.
