Strange HTTPS Check Issue

Post by michaeln »

Upon trying to upgrade my Hostmonitor package, the HTTPS check for our site no longer works. It's a very simple test that just does a GET on our URL and checks the content for "SERVER ID". This works fine for the HTTP test, but for the HTTPS test, it comes back as bad. Besides the HTTP vs HTTPS, these tests seem to be identical. When I click "Test" on the HTTPS one, I get this:

Test tatus: Bad
Error code: 0
Error msg:

How can I find out why Hostmonitor is calling this test bad?

Looks like you are using HTTP test method. It does not support HTTPs protocol.
Please use URL request test to check HTTPs URLs:

This indeed was the fix. If only someone could help me with the custom SNMP error...
