Problem with URL-test

I have a following problem with URL-test: sometimes test just stays with status 'checking' and down't continue. Down anyone known any reason for this ?

For how long test can have "checking" status? 1-2-5 min? Or forewer?
Did you setup some specific timeout for the tests or use default Windows time-outs?
URL test uses wininet.dll (part of Internet Explorer), some versions of IE have different bugs. That's why was implemented HTTP test, it doesn't use any 3rd party DLLs.
At first you can try to setup timeout for the URL tests. If it will not help and you are using URL tests to check HTTP servers, you can switch to HTTP test instead. Also you can try to upgrade IE installed on your system
