Suppose a test goes bad, but the "play sound" action is out of schedule (for example at night). When the action comes in the schedule (for example 8 a.m.) and the test is still bad, the "play sound" action isn't fired. Can this behaviour be changed ?

Regards,
Gert

Sorry, I missed you message yesterday.
If you just interesting in "Play sound" action, I think its not a problem to set "Repeat: until status changes" option for the action and HostMonitor will start action when schedule allows do to that.
But for another type of actions this way can be inappropriate. Looks like new option will be useful but it needs some changes in HostMonitor's logic. So, it will not be changed before version 4.0

Regards
Alex

No, it's not only for "play sound".
Another example could be the "e-mail" action (in fact, SMS): In some cases I'll recieve an SMS in the morning for problems that arises at night.

I'm looking forward to version 4 !

Regards,
Gert
