What is "actual alert-value"?
%Object1%? This variable can be used for templates, it has nothing to to with actions.

Alex

i mean the value that i can set when i should get an alert

For example: Alert when "total free space less than" 10 GB

and i want to use the field that contain "10" as a macro to use dynamic Test names like this: %FOLDER%: c:\ under %value% GB[/img]

There is %AlertThreshold% and %AlertThresholdValue% variables.
For more information please check the manual or visit our web site at http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm#actions.htm#macro

I am confused. Where do you want to use macro variable?
As parameter of test template?
Then please check another part of the manual
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm#tests.htm#testpropvariables

As you may see there is no %object1% variable.
There is %object% variable, for UNC test it will return target resource.
There is no variable that will return alert threshold

i want to use the variable in editor-window of a test and in the table-view of HM Client.

i have put the test into a subfolder and use the variable %FOLDER% to view the foldername in testname it works in both views but if i want to use %AlertThresholdValue% so i see the value only in a email

Of course it does not work.
My previous answer was:
==================

==================

But I think its pretty easy to type 10 or 20 while you are configuring test item.
