Can't use Depends on SNMP-Trap

Post by MirkoW »

That's correct behavior. SNMP Trap test cannot depends on other items.

Can you setup different filters to react on different messages?

Not sure I understand the problem...
If testA checks for SNMP Trap messages using some specific list of OIDs then testB can check for Trap messages using different list of OIDs.
Do you need to setup testA to check for specific message and use testB to check for all other messages? and you don't want to receive 2 alerts when message fits testA and testB?

yes this is my problem because the needet (filtered)value is only in %TrapAllValues%

Then may be you need option like "message contains any OID except the following ..."?

Hi,

the OID-Value exceptions are important too.. because the filtered data is only in the %TrapAllValues_*%-variables
