Hi,

We have recently tried to upgrade our Hostmon installation to version 8.02. After the upgrade some WMI tests do not work anymore.

These tests do not use "root\cimv2" but "root\citrix". These test have worked and the manual tests using WMI Explorer 1.06 work also.

Can you help us?

Regards,
John

Hm. Truth to say, we changed nothing in "WMI" test method. What exact error do you see? Status?

Regards,
Max

Hi Max,

The error we get is "Invalid Class" and the tests go to UNKNOWN.

The test query is:
Select NumberOfActiveSessions from MetaFrame_Server

This test is run in root\citrix

As I mentioned earlier this query still work using the new WMI Explorer.

Regards,
John

What Windows do you use? This error often appears on Vista/Windows 2008. To fix the problem, you should launch the following line from command line prompt on the machine, where HostMonitor is running:

Code:
regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\system32\msscript.ocx
