|
|
Hi,
We use private logs with the option reply.
I saw, that there will be also a midnight log.
Is it possible to avoid this entry?
I know, there is an option in the general log settings for midnight logging, but I thought the private log will not be affected.
Thanks,
Martin |

There is no such option (disable midnight logging for private logs without disabling midnight logging for common log).
We can add this option if other customers agree.
On the other hand I do not understand the problem. One record per day should not make any problems On the contrary its good for log analyzing, especially if you are using date/time filters.

We use private html log options for some statistics tests only, f.e.
PrintJobs per day
Mails per day
Diskgrowth per day ...
Therefore we use the new tune up reply option variable - [%SuggestedReply% - %SuggestedLastReply%] in relation with perfmon tests.
I just saw and read in the manual that at the midnight log only the actual status will be logged, so there will be no test executed and will not effect the "suggestedReply" value. In this case we have no problems with the midnight log.
On regular tests the midnight log is a really good option, which we appreciate.
