Hi! This is New user of KS-Soft i could not figurout how dose it works. i have 400 people to be monitore and one server. now i am useing trial version if i can be able to use this software i am gonna buy.

Could you explain what exactly you are going to monitor?
Have you already installed HostMonitor?
HostMonitor offers over the 60 different test methods to check various services: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/index-tests.htm
You just should click on "Add" button on the toolbar (or on a small tirangle next to "Add" button) and select appropriate test.
You may use online documentation, available here: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm
