Language localization

Post by KS-Soft »

Officially we offer English (onlly) version of the software. However you may translate main menu of HostMonitor by yourself.

There is ini file: www.ks-soft.net/download/other/hmlang_eng.zip
You may unzip language.ini file and put this file into HostMonitor directory. HostMonitor will read file settings on startup.
File contains default English captions for main menu. If you translate the file and restart HostMonitor, it will use your version of the captions.
Note: lines that begin with semicolon ( ; ) - comments that are not used by the software.

If you would like to share localized version of the file, please send it to support@ks-soft.net and tell us what language you have used this time  Your work will be greatly appreciated by our community.

In future we will extend options that can be translated within this file.

Regards
Alex

No problem!
By the way, here are the names for these abbreviations:

Menu Voir:
ICad stands for «Interface de Controle a Distance » (RCI: Remonte Control Interface)
AMaD stands for «Agents de Monitoring a Distance» (RMA: Remote Monitoring Agents)

For any questions, just ask!

May be its better to keep original abbreviations? Especially while there is no localized version of manual and help files.

Have a look at the hosting page for the green plus sign, whose intended purpose is to make voting less language-specific. Its purpose is intuitive to most people, and had darn well better be intuitive because both the description for the symbol and the explanation of why it's edit protected are available only in English.
