HM 7.14 Beta - Invalid floating point operation

Post by Kapz »

Hi !

Upgraded our HM 7.08 to HM 7.14 Beta on Win2003SP1.

When HM 7.14 Beta launches it keeps on bringing up small windows with the red ball with a white cross saying "Invalid floating point operation".
A new window will pop up approximately once every second overlapping the last one - when I click OK the window will close.

Of course I had to go back to my backup of HM 7.08, but what can I do from here ?

Thanks in advance !

Do you use rcc to access HostMonitor? Does this popup window appear in RCC's or in HostMonitor's interface?

Please send all *.HML, *.ini and *.lst files to support@ks-soft.net
Please, compress the files before sending, if possible.

When new version converts HML files, it creates backup copy using .~HM extension.
You may rename *.~HM file into *.HML, then install old version of the software into the same folder using "Update/Repair" installation mode. Everything should work.

I haven't tried that yet. We're in the middle of our business hours now so right now's not the best time to debug ;)

Done and done.

Alex,

> Problem fixed
I totally agree - thanks for a quick fix :D

Also tried out the new and faster RCC and it seems very promising. The speed has indeed increased a lot even though it takes quite some time to retrieve our test list with 7750 tests (Windows adds a "(Not responding)" to RCC's window title).
