Hi
I have HostMonitor v. 5.34 which runs on Win2003 SP1.
I want to check differences in time with another Win2003 server.
I add test:
test By: Hostmonitor
test method: NTP test
server: win2003server(can ping it)
port 123
Display mode: difference in time

but my test didn't work, I always receive no answer
I runs windows time service on win2003server computer, service is up.
I see in netstat that UDp port 123 is listening.
Do you have any idea what's can be a problem?

I see two possible reasons:
1. Firewall issue. Have you opened UDP port 123 on Windows 2003 server?
2. What about group policy? You need to configure Windows Time Service using Group Policy Object Editor (Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc, then click Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System, click Windows Time Service and enable Global Configuration Settings, configure Windows Time Providers and enable Windows NTP Server).

Regards,
Max

Not sure I understand this question. NTP server should not make any problems for NTP clients started on the same system. You cannot start several NTP servers on the same system using the same port however you may start several clients on the same system...
