i need to perform some external test (written in VB or c++) which retourn me an error level and a msgbox with some information. it's possible to redirect an output from an external test in a HostMon popup? by this way i can view the popup in RCC and not only on the machine who perform the test.

You may use "Shell Script" test method ( http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm#tests.htm#chkShell ) or "Active Script" test method ( http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/tests.htm#script ). Such method allows you to process specific "Reply" values, like console output of other progam (See "Requirements to the script:" topics for "Shell Script" and "Active Script" test methods).

Yes, RCC can perform "show popup window" actions.
