When using RCC I receive an authorization failed: Invalid username or password. OR
I receive and authentication failure: Unacceptable IP Address.
Passwords and IP's are correct. I even tried Admin and user accounts without a password.
Hostmonitor Version 5.70 is on XP SP1
RCC is on XP SP2

Have you specified username/password and acceptable IP addresses in "User Profiles" dialog (HostMonitor menu Options > RCI > User Profiles)?

Please verify you have added IP address of host, where RCC is running, into "Accept Remote Connection from" listbox. You may do it by pressing Ins button.

Max

Thanks, It works now for the Admin account but fails auth for the technician account. Whether a pass is set or not. All other settings are the same as the Admin account for the Tech account now but fails.KS-Soft Europe wrote:Have you specified username/password and acceptable IP addresses in "User Profiles" dialog (HostMonitor menu Options > RCI > User Profiles)?

Probably, you have not specified appropriate permissions for technician account? What exact error RCC shows for the technician account?ednoc wrote:Thanks, It works now for the Admin account but fails auth for the technician account. Whether a pass is set or not.
