RMA Manager: possibility to script ?

Post by StevenVK »

Hello,

I need to install the RMA on several hundred existing servers... this works fine (with the RMAInstaller).

Afterwards, I need to add these to the Hostmonitor ... again, this works fine (with a HMS script that performs an ImportFromFile).

Here's my problem: how do I add the agents automatically in the RMA manager so they are known ?

As far as I see now, when the agent is not known in the RMA Manager I can't connect to them with HostMonitor ?

Kind regards,
Steven

RMA Manager supports Export/Import routines. You may use RMA Manager menu File > Import to import the list of agents from CSV file.
You may use Export function first, to resolve the format of CSV file, you should prepare to import.

Is there a way to do this in a script or batchfile ? Because I won't add them all at once, but one at a time.

I am afraid, RMA Manager does not support scripts. At least in current version. You may use some .bat file to prepare CSV file with certain agents, but import it you should only using menu File > Import.
