hi all,
my problem is, that the hostmonitor don't write the logfile in time. it's about the dash2.htm - i told the hostmonitor to create a report every 1 minute - i submit my changes and left the program - after that i connected with the internet explorer to the dash2.htm webinterface and wait for the refresh, but nothing happens.
the file is in: C:\AHM5\WebService\public\dash2.htm.
The system on which HM is running, is a MS W2K3 Server and we are using HostMonitor 6.10.
please help me, i need an answer quickly.
much thanks,

Re: problem with log-writing
So, the problem is the HTML page does not refresh? Or HostMonitor does not generate such page at all?liq wrote:my problem is, that the hostmonitor don't write the logfile in time. it's about the dash2.htm - i told the hostmonitor to create a report every 1 minute - i submit my changes and left the program - after that i connected with the internet explorer to the dash2.htm webinterface and wait for the refresh, but nothing happens.
Have you enabled "Include "AutoRefresh" option" in Dashboard Report atributes window? http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... #dashboard
Does your browser Security settings allow AutoRefresh operation? (IE menu > Tools > Internet options > Security tab > Custom Level button > Allow META REFRESH option)

hi again all,
sorry for double-posting, but there is another problem that was noticeable to me. We have approximately 100 UNC checks running in Host Monitor - my problem is now, that the server X and the server Y are in the same domain and get query by the same service with the same right.
service: KS Advanced Host Monitor (HostMonService)
account: admin_Hostmonitor@company.com (with domain admin rights)
Server X is now replying the UNC query with the answer "OK 21%" for example.
The Server Y is either not replying or Host Monitor shows just the answer that the status is unknown.
can you help me again please?
regards liq.
