We have an EMC CX400 Enterprise Strorage which sends Error messages via e-Mail. This is the only way the box communicates to the rest of the world )(EMC says, SNMP will not be supported any more). The mails derive from a mail template and have certain patterns like "Severity: Critical Error".

Q: Is it possible to send the mails Cc to a mail-account and check whether there are new mails containing this pattern?

Any idea?

Sorry, HostMonitor cannot perform such tests. If you create your own script, then you may setup HostMonitor to use the script (see Active Script or Shell Script test methods)
