Does this version also include the improvement "HostMonitor and RCC: optimized memory manager increases performance of the applications, especially on multiprocessor systems" of Advanced Host Monitor 6.08 Beta? |

P.S.
New memory manager works great on our systems but Kapz reported about strange problems with HostMonitor
http://www.ks-soft.net/cgi-bin/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=3000&start=15
We cannot reproduce such problem so its very hard to find what exactly is wrong and we may spend another 2-3 months searching for error
So, we decide to built release using old memory manager
BTW: Have you tried version 6.08? How it works in your environment?
Regards

No, it is the policy of the company i work for not to try beta versions on "production" computers, so i can only install-upgrade to version 6.10 (from 6.04 that we are using now).
What i have seen so far is that HM occupies about 40-50MB of RAM at most circumstances, having an average of 15 tests/sec with a total of 2500 tests. We are thinking of getting a new computer with better hardware (a P4 with hyperthreading) and see how it goes there. |
