I am using hostmonitor to capture security logs from several servers.
Using 6.0beta:
I would like to setup a log directory structure like :
c:\logs\%TestName%\%YYYY%\%MM%\%DD%\%CommentLine1%-%DDMMYYYY%.txt
Are there any macros besides YYYY DD MM that work with the log filenames??
Which macros work? Comment, Testname etc don't seem to. Documentation is kinda unspecific as to which macros are available in a test. Since the log happens AT test time I was under the impression that macros could be used in any part of the Test Properties dialog options.
Thanks
Bob
log file macros
Of course not. These macro variables represents parameters of the test that has triggered the action. Means you may use these macro variables for actions.Which macros work? Comment, Testname etc don't seem to.

If you are configuring file related test, read "Tests" section of the manual
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm#tests.htm
If you are configuring the action, read "Action and Action Profiles" section of the manual
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... ctions.htm
If you are configuring logs, read "Logs & Reports" section of the manual
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mframe.htm#logs.htm
As you may see each section has its own list of macro variables
