If not how can we create one ?

Thanks.

In this case you should use "URL request test" instead of "HTTP test".

The "URL request test" does not support the NT Integrated security.
It only support basic.
We started the Hostmon as a service, that limit what you can do because you are not logged on a session on a server.

We have not tested NTLM authentication, but I think HostMonitor may perform such test under some conditions...
1) enable "Ignore unknown certificate authority problems" option in "URL test properties" dialog
2) specify user name and password (just like you do that for basic authentication)
3) make sure HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Security\NTLM registry keys specifies NTLM authentication and points to winsspi.dll

What Windows do you use?
Do you have winsspi.dll DLL in Windows\system32 directory?

H'm.. Our Windows XP and Windows 2003 systems do no have such DLL either. While Windows 2000 has the DLL.
Microsoft says this DLL is necessay for NTLM authentication: http://windowssdk.msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/wininet/wininet/handling_authentication.asp
I think functions were moved from this DLL to some another... But I cannot find any information on microsoft.com.

Have you tried to enable ""Ignore unknown certificate authority problems" option? May be everything works fine?

Regards
Alex
