I need to insert a longer pause after the program dials the pager number before it puts the address and status information in.
Is there any way to add more "," to the string?

What action method do you use? "Send message to pager (TAP)" or "Send message to numeric pager (beeper)"? In 1st case you cannot change pause, HM sends information after connection to TAP server. In second case changing delay is not a problem at all. You can use "Delay" option or you can use comma (,) in "Beeper #" field and in "Send message" field.
