We have deployed RMA to several Windows server (2000 and 2003), and all of them show crashing rma.exe's. All of the installations were new installations of version 3.14.
The event log shows something like this:
Source: Application Error
Category: (100)
Event ID: 1000
Description: Faulting application rma.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.1830, fault address 0x00015dea.
The weird thing is that ALL servers show this behaviour. The servers are very different, from home-made Asus motherboard- servers, to serious Dell machines. Connections are through the lan, and in some cases through the internet using Cisco routers and vpn tunnels in transport mode.
Any ideas?
RMA crashes
Unfortunatelly we cannot trace this address because exception occurs in system dll...Description: Faulting application rma.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.1830, fault address 0x00015dea.
Any common software installed on your systems? Especially Norton Antivirus Monitor or some personal firewall? NAV monitoring module often leads to problems, while scanner works fine.
