DateTime missmatch

Post by PanTau64 »

Hi,

I have a strange behaviour with the HostMonitor. We are using the version 5.30 on a Windows 2003 Server machine. Hostmonitor logs all tests with odbc option in a SQL-Server 8.0 database. The regional settings are set to german format. So time is HH:mm:ss and Date is dd.MM.yyyy. When logging information will be added correctly to the database, some of the test starting external programs, which needs the last test date (%LastTestTime%) and time as a parameter. So I use the marco variable %LastTestTime%, but the result is that the date is in the format mm/dd/yyyy. How can this happen? I tried also to use the fixed format option, but still there is teh format differnce between the odbc log info and teh macro variables.

Any idea?

Probably HostMonitor is started as service under account that uses mm/dd/yyyy date format?
"Use fixed Date&Time" option should help but you need to restart HostMonitor in order to apply new date format.
