|
|
Every so often our SQL test report an access violation generating a false positive in HostMonitor. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to the error, it happens every day or so and there are no errors that I can see in the event log of either server.
The exact error we get is:
"Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000"
I can't set test of this type to ignore unknown errors so this is a real pain at the moment. Any thoughts?

SQL test?
Do you mean "ODBC Query" test? What ODBC driver do you use?
Or you mean "MS SQL Server" test?
What version of HostMonitor do you use?

Sorry, we're running HostMonitor 5.34 and this is for the MS SQL Server test. |

H'm.. we don't see any error in the code that perform this test.
When version of SQL Client library do you have installed?
Could you try to use "ODBC Query" test method instead?
