Hello,

I want to test our RAS-Server with an Test-Connection. Can I do this at the moment with HostMonitor (how?) or is this an feature in future versions?

Regards

As I understand you want to check does RAS server accepts connections? In other words HostMonitor must call the server, try to establish connection, and drop it to finish test.

In current version of HostMonitor it can be implemented but in very hard way. You can create master and dependent tests, master test will test anything (e.g. ping localhost) and start "Dial-up to the network" action, dependent test can try to check connection (e.g. ping RAS server) several times (system need time to establish dial-up connection) and start "Disconnect dial-up connection" action.
I think this method doesn't look good. So, I added your request about new test into our "to do" list.

Regards
Alex
