Hello, it is the first time that I write, and I hope it doesn't bother you.

Is my question there is some form of seeing if a port this or not open?

You want to monitor status of the TCP port?
You may use "TCP" test method: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/mfra ... ts.htm#tcp
