Seg fault on SLED 10

Post by invisik »

Hi all,

Trying to get RMA working on SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10..... I configged up the rma.ini file and figured out what it wanted for the path to the configuration file. Here's my output:

mattj@mattj-sled:~/rma> ./rma -i /home/mattj/rma/rma
-------------------------------------------------------------
Application: RMA (Remote Monitoring Agent for HostMonitor)
Version: 1.22 for Linux (Red Hat, Mandrake, SuSE)
Copyright: 2004, 2005 Alexander Kozlov
web: http://www.ks-soft.net
e-mail: support@ks-soft.net
-------------------------------------------------------------
Command line checking .. Ok
Segmentation fault
mattj@mattj-sled:~/rma>

I checked versions of the needed libraries and they seem to be ok. I've tried it with the debug command line switch and I don't get any additional output Any ideas?

Thanks.

What processor is used on the system where SLED is installed? You may download appropriate binary package from our site: http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/down ... #fromusers
There are binary modules for SUSE Linux ES 9 (AMD64) and SUSE Linux ES 8 (Itanium). You may try them. However, I do not think you have Itanium on the desktop, so, you need recompile the agent on your system. Please, send request to support@ks-soft.net
