I did see that when I stop the service and start the application two hostmon.exe services were running (I am using HostMonitor using terminal services). So this could result in two applications reading / writing in the same .hml file. I changed my script to wait for the first hostmon.exe process to stop, before starting HostMonitor as an application.

In case this shouldn't make any difference, it is at least the better way to do
