Hello,

as written above I am installing HostMon on a new server.

I am also upgrading to 4.84 so I don't want to copy the old HostMon directory to the new one.

We customized a lot of test, wrote scripts, edited alarm profiles etc.

I replaced the following files in HostMin 4.84 with the old ones:

actions.lst
agents.lst
hml_mgr.ini
hostmon.ini
logsman.ini
rma_mgr.ini
sscripts.lst

Is the job done with editing the agents' settings?!

Thanks in advance and greetings from Germany

Christian

If you want to keep all your settings, you need to copy all *.LST and *.INI files.
If you need to start HostMonitor as service, you also need to provide user name and password on Service page in the Options dialog. And do not forget to install service using command line "Hostmon.exe /InstallService".
