I have host monitor installed in C:\Program Files\HostMonitor4 and whenever I try to access the local file system I get an error message stating "Can't access this folder. Path is too long" as soon as I click in the drop down message.
for example....from the menu, select File -> Export to Text File -> Export all tests. This brings me to a window displaying the C:\Program Files\HostMonitor4\Logs directory. As soon as I click the drop down box to go to a different directory I get the error. It will then let me navigate through the file system but no matter what directory I specify to save the file, it still saves it in the default directory, in the example C:\Program Files\HostMonitor4\Logs.
HostMon 4.74
Windows 2000 SP4

I cannot say what is exactly wrong because its not HostMonitor's error message. Windows display it...
If you start HostMonitor in application mode, error does not appear?
If you start HostMonitor as service under local system account?
