Like the macro:

%mmm% - Current month as an abbreviation (Jan-Dec) using system's regional settings.

except getting the abbreviations to come out jan - dec?

Lowercase? No, HostMonitor does not have such variable. Is this realy important?

Well, the reason I ask is because of a service called SmartSource Data Collector http://www.netiq.com/default.asp produces its log files with this type of format. There may be a way to rename them.. I will have to look into that.
