I am getting "error opening com port" when pager dial action is initiated while HM is running as Service. Not a problem if I stop the Advanced HM service and run HM manualy. I read in earlier post were KS-Soft could not re-produce the problem and you suggested that the line FixedPagingPort=COM2 be added to the MISC section of the hostmonitor.ini.
I have done this, however it did not resolve the issue. Any help would be appreaciated.
Yeah, we cannot reproduce this problem. Just tried it again on Windows XP SP2... it works (in application and service mode).
Also I have checked manuals but did not find answer....
