|

I've checked a little bit on the forum to see how it would be possible to send a HELO command on a SMTP server before sending mail with Host Monitor.
My SMTP server is requiring a HELO command before being able to send an email and I can't figure out with Hostmonitor how to implement this. As a result hostmonitor is not able to send emails when a status of the tests change. Only solution that I can think of so far is to disable the HELO command on my SMTP server, but this is something that I would like to avoid.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thx!

I just checked the log of the test and it seems after all that the EHLO command is sent instead. My problem for email paging is something else.
Please disregard my previous question.
Thank you!

HostMonitor sends HELO or EHLO command (depends on authentication method).
If mail server does not accept mail, HostMonitor should log information about error...
