|
|
Hi Alex,
I would like to know if itīs possible to use the macro variable %TestName% fo form a sound file name to be played. For example, if I had a test named TEST1 and a sound file named TEST1.WAV, woul it be possible to use "path/%TestName%.wav" to play the TEST1.WAV file?
Thanks,
Jromariz. |

This is impossible. But if this is really important for you, we can add this option in next version

Alex,
The idea is to have one action profile and be able to use it in any test that would have the same actions but with different sounds. I believe it would be great to have this options as the administration of the profiles would be much esasier.
Hope you understand.

I understand. But you will need to create so many wav files (for each test!!)....
Probably better use some User Defined Variable instead of %TestName%?

HostMonitor does not support any macro variables for this action (User Defined Variables is not supported either).
But we can implement this in next version
