I would like to create monthly reports and export them in DBF format. Log Analyzer does not seem to allow any format but htm. Is there a way to do this and be able to filter the results by month like i can in log analyzer. If not where is the raw data kept so I can try to make a custom program myself to extract data and minipulate it myself?

HostMonitor can create monthly reports. You just need to reset statistical information on monthly basis. Use "Statistics" page in the Folder Properties dialog to setup schedule for statistics/report generation.

You cannot access HostMonitor's data directly. However you may use logging (e.g. ODBC logging) to store and analyze information

is this because thre is no raw data files or because you do not allow it? By the looks of what I can see you are dumping text directly into syslog.htm from host monitor?

In reports if I change the reporting type from htm to dbf would the syslog.htm file now become syslog.dbf?

There are no raw data files.

Sorry, do not understand this question

Reports do not relate to logs in any way. HostMonitor can create various reports at the same time: DBF, HTM, Text.

If you want to have system log in DBF format, just change file extension to DBF.

Alex
