We would like to use HostMonitor in our company in the helpdesk. We have to check some authentificated website but we wouldn't like the helpdesk team to see the username/password used to access the website
How can I do to mask username and password in the URL ? |

You can protect all settings by password. Use "Protect all settings by password" option located on Miscellaneous page in the Options dialog. HostMonitor will check password before opening Test Properties dialog, Options dialog, Action Profiles dialog, etc.

Ok but if we would like to mask the username/password in the Test properties window and Advanced URL properties window (URL field and Advanced) how can we do ??? We have to alow helpdesk to configure the HostMonitor (for alert) but some test entry are configured by other privileged people that know password for these authentificated tests. |

Sorry, its impossible in current version. Probably in version 3.32 will be implemented new HTTP test, there password field will display '***'.
