This map related code puts additional load on HostMonitor while HostMonitor already too slow on heavy configs, like 50,000 tests + 15,000 folders.
So we have to redesign and retest a lot of code in order to make HostMonitor much faster

1st time when map created software chooses location for all items automatically.
Links between items set automatically as well.
Then you can move some items (e.g. HostMonitor and Agents and some hosts) and save coordinates.
We plan to implement option that allows you to save coordinates using different files, e.g. adminA may setup some agents in one order, adminB may use different locations. Probably we will allow several files per user account as well..

It takes more and more time.
HostMonitor and Web Service code (related to maps) is not 100% ready but most functions implemented a while ago, code works fast and reliable, it can provide data for set like 8,000 hosts and 40,000 tests within 1 sec.
The problem - browser related scripts.
If you have 40,000 tests, or even 2,000 tests, you will not be happy with performance.
Code works much faster than a months ago but still too slow. Especially if you are using FireFox.
IE/Edge a little bit better.
Chrome/Opera the best.
What browsers usually used for HostMonitor Web interface?

i can tell you Alex ...
the big customers i visit are using IE and Chrome (banking companies)
the smaller companies (health care) are using ONLY IE .
the small customers i visit are using IE or Edge nowadays.
Firefox isn't used in the most companies i visit in the Netherlands.
