Hi,

When running versions below 4.30, the quick log only showed changes in the status. Eg. CPU Utilization. But with version 4.30 and 4.40 it show every test result in the window. And this is no good.

Method = CPU
;--- Common properties ---
Title = CPU \\10.10.1.5
Comment = CPU Usage on \\10.10.1.5
RelatedURL =
ScheduleMode= Regular
Schedule =
Interval = 60
Alerts = Message, Sound
ReverseAlert= No
UnknownIsBad= Yes
UseCommonLog= Yes
PrivLogMode = Default
CommLogMode = Full
;--- Test specific properties ---
Computer = \\10.10.1.5
OS = NT
MaxCPUUsage = 50
------------------------------------------------

Is this caused by an intended change in AHM?

Best regards,
Stoltze

No, its because you changed property of the test: CommLogMode = Full

I don't think so... I have been running these statistics for the last half year...

And I haven't had this problem before. And I have always been logging CPU in "Full-mode"

Best Regards,

I think so, because:

1) I checked code, there no changes in version 4.30, 4.40
2) It works accourding to the manual
3) This part of manual was written 8 months ago
http://www.ks-soft.net/hostmon.eng/news.htm#hmquicklog
4) I just tested HostMonitor 4.10, it works accourding to the manual (works in the same way as HostMonitor 4.30 and HostMonitor 4.40)

Regards
Alex

Now I know what the change is...

Before the Default logging method to log everything, but then I changed it to changes only. And then changed the tests from "Default" to "Full".

So, if default is equal to "Everything", I will log every reply to the log, but only see changes in status in the QuickLog..

Does this sounds correct to you Alex?

best Regards,
Stoltze
