I am using test method "Check MS SQL Server". Fields:
Server: server1
Database: base1
Login/password: <blank>
Logged user under Windows XP when HM running is SQL administrator.
File ntwdblib.dll exist in "C:\Program Files\HostMonitor4".
Always I have status "No answer". What is it? |

For MSSQL to connect you must have a user account. Either a windows account or an SQL account. And the account must have rights on the database you want to connect to. |

There is small program for testing purpose: http://www.ks-soft.net/download/mssqltest.exe It is console application, it has 4 command line parameters: Server Database UserName [Password].
Start it and you will see message that describes problem. Hope it will help.
