Traffiic history incorrect values when using the spinbox

Post by xcentric »

Ok, so as far as I can tell this happens only with traffic tests.

How to reproduce.
1. Add a traffic test to a folder with some other tests. Generate some history or this can be done with an existing traffic test.
2. Right click and select "history charts" and record the valuse for today.
3. Now at the bottom right corner of the dialog there is a spinbox that cycles between the tests in the current folder. Click up or down one time then back to the traffic test and now the values in today are different.

If you right click and view the history charts for each traffic test one at a time they will display correct values.
If you use the spinbox located at the bottom right corner to cycle through the traffic tests the values are incorrectly calculated.

At first I didnt notice but soon I thought my eyes were decieving me. Careful review led me to this issue. Right before your eyes the values are calculated differently.

We do not see any problem. May be HostMonitor changes values because it performs tests and updates statistics? That is normal.

I just noticed something else.

Look at the title bars for both "history chart" dialog boxes.
You will notice the first title bar reads the test info with [Mbit/sec] while the other screenshot it is missing. I wonder if the proper unit conversion is applied on the second screenshot.

There is fix at www.ks-soft.net/download/hm885c.zip
Please check your license using HostMonitor/RCC menu Help->Update check, update to official release 8.84, then apply this fix (just unzip the file and replace hostmon.exe, rcc.exe modules).

That's what I was trying to say in my e-mail - HostMonitor shows correct values in both cases but it used different scales.
