Hi Alex,
Would it be possible to have an action that would beep the computer speaker when a test goes into bad status and keep beeping until status changes to good ?
Thanks,

HostMonitor already has "Play sound" action with "Play sound repeatedly" option. It just cannot stop sound when test changes status back to "Alive".
So, we need new option for the "Play sound" action. Right?

Alex,
You´re right but my intenttion was to have a sound on the speaker when some tests go to the bad status. If we use the sound card for playing the sound it would not be possible to keep playing the other sounds of the other tests.
Hope you understand.

May be not. You want to have posibility to play sound using sound card for some tests and use speaker for another? What the reason? "Play sound until status restore status" option is good for critical situations when you need somebody come to station and fix the problem. Right? Prbably technician will will come faster when he hears many different sounds?
Or may be I misunderstand you and some another application always use sound card on your system? But anyway Windows allows to play sound for many applications simultaneously (I just not sure it works well on any Windows version or not)

Alex,
Once again you´re correct. Be able to play a sound until status goes back to good would solve the problem.
