I created a new folder under Root level, and dragged all tests from Root to the new folder. That appeared to create new copies in the new folder, but did not remove the tests in the Root folder. Then I deleted the tests in the Root folder, and *all* the tests disappeared. Is this the way it's supposed to work?
I just want to be able to "move" all the test from Root to the new folder.
Thanks.

Weird Drag & Drop Behavior with Folders
When "Show tests in subfolders (recursive)" option is enabled, all tests contained in the selected folder and in all of its descending subfolders will appear in the Test Detail Area.
It means you have moved tests into subfolder, however you see these tests because Root folder displays all test itmes.
If you select Root folder and look at list you will see folder names, just like
- Root\
- Root\Subfolder name
- test1
- test2
- ...
- Root\Another subfolder
- ...
Then you have deleted test items.
Long time ago one customer said "I saw 2 drives C: on my computer - one drive C on left Norton panel, another on right panel. I don't need two drives C, so I have removed one."
I am afraid you have done the same
