How to open main window when running as service?

I have HostMon 5.12 running on Win2K as a service. I thought there would be a small icon on the right side of the Windows taskbar that I could click on to get to the main HostMonitor window, but it's not there. I could open HostMonitor from the Start menu, but that starts up a new instance of the program, right? How do I access the program that's running as a service?

Icon can be invisible if:

1) you have disabled "allow service to interact with desktop" option
Solution: enable ths option using standard Windows "Services" applet

2) you are running HostMonitor on remote system and accessing that system using Terminal Service
