Hi!
I need to check if an process on a Citrix server is taking more than 20% CPU... how do I do that?
Do you have a little app like plist / tlist with the % of power it takes from the CPU...

Process checking
You may use Performance Counter test method.

No....
I'm looking for a way to pinpoint when a users process (appl) is jammed. I have a appl that can jamm the whole machine if it's startet more than once by the same user. The charactaristisc of an appl that is jammed is that it takes around 25 % of the CPU - imagine that happens if a user start it more than 4 times.... The whole server is jammed.
I'm trying to make a test that will alert me if a process takes more than - say 20 % - then I know that there is something wrong. I can't pinpoint the appl. or the process (ID) up front - only wait until some process is taking more than 20%. An appl. like tlist with the % use of CPU could do the job.

I use a normal CPU Usage test today but it would be a nice feature to get the name of the appl or maybe the user who ownes the jammed appl. Then I can contact the user and get him/her to cancel the appl. without having to kick him from a consol. I get the alarm thou a SMS - that means that I'm not always in contact with the console - maybe I'm on the road....

This was a "Problem" for me... no... serius... I get your drift. Don't this belong to an area called "How to..."
Thanks!
