Hi Alex,
I just configured a RAS test and faced a problem. The computer thatīs running hostmon is connected do my LAN. When the RAS test is started, all the connectivity of the computer to the LAN is lost. Iīve tried to disable the "use remote network default gateway" option so no new route would be created when the the dial-up connection is stablished but the problem remains.
Any ideas?

May be RAS server provides IP address/mask from the same subnet (the same subnet that is used for LAN interface)?
BTW What Windows do you use? Servce Pack?

Alex,
I just found the problem. The address that the RAS connection is receiving is 10.x.x.x/8 and I have another network, which is reacheable via the local network, that has address 10.3.0.x/24. This way, when the RAS connection is stablished, hostmon tries to reach the 10.3.0.x network via RAS connection!
Thanks for helping.
Regards,
