RMA on Suse linux 9.1

Hi,

Im totally new to Linux, and just barely manged to install a Linux machine. But i can't get a RMA probe up running.

I have unpaked the files in a folder, and trying to run the following:

./rma -i -v /home/towa/public_html/rma.ini

But get the following errors:

Command line checking : OK
Settings checking ...error
invalid path to the agent!

But the rma file seems to be OK!

I have tryed the version 0.9 and others, what are a newbie to Linux doing wrong???

I have the same problem with suse 9.2 and rma 1.00

I also checked my rma.ini file several times and the entry there is
RmaPath = /etc/rma

This is the correct path. I installed RMA there.
I also checked if all necessary files for linux are installed. This is also ok.

I also tested it with rma 0.80, same problem.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

/etc/rma is a directory of file?
Could you provide result of the "ls -l /etc/rma" command?

/etc/rma is the directory where the rma.ini file is.

You should provide full path
RmaPath = /etc/rma/rma

It worked!

Now I have to find out how I can get tests for my Linux server to work in Host Monitor that is installed on a Windows machine.

I got the test for the squid process running. This is awsome!
