It seems like only the last event log entry that is new since the last check by HM is found by the NT Event Log test. This is a problem for me since there might be 10 new error events in the eventlog, but I am only detecting 1. Am I doing something wrong?

You are not wrong. HostMonitor try to find in the Event Log the most "fresh" record that corresponds to specified criteria.
Do you want to start some actions as many times as many similar events occurred between last tests? Usually its not necessary. And I am afraid its not easy to change HostMonitor's behavior in this case.

Hi Alex,
I need to be informed about every Event that occures with the specs specified in the testsetup.
So I would be really happy if you could add that feature in future versions of HM.

The event log is indexed by Record number, so when hostmonitor checks the log, it should only have to go back as far as n+1 past the last time it checked, that way you don't limit yourself to simply one entry, and also don't have to grab the whole log again either.

Its already implemented in version 3.56 (will be available on next week). You can try "unofficial" update http://www.ks-soft.net/download/hm353.zip
There is new option "Report about all Bad events". And of course alert action that you using should have enabled "Repeat: until status changes" option
