Hi
I began to use test statistics to evaluate servers up time.
I reset statistices automaticaly each month on the folder options.
But when hostmonitor server need to restart automaticly.or hostmonitor
has problem and canot exit with menu command. I lost my statistics.
does it mean that statistics are kept only in memory while program is runnig?
What i can do?
(My current problem is ,i try to exit from hostmonitor using Exit command menu and host monitor is ignore the command .
I need to restart the server and do not want to loose my mounthly statistics).

As usualy I need more information:
- HostMonitor version?
- Windows version?
- Service Pack?
- HostMonitor is started as service or application?
- If HostMonitor is started as service, do you see any errors in NT Event Log?
If HostMonitor is running in service mode, you cannot stop service using menu File->Exit. You should stop service using Windows Services applet or "Net Stop HostmonService" command.
If "When service is being stopped save changes in HML file" option is selected, HostMonitor saves all modified tests and statistics. This option is located on "Service" page in HostMonitor's Options dialog and it is selected by default.

Yes, statistics are kept in memory. HostMonitor saves statistics when you close application, stop service, reboot system or when you save test list using menu File->Save. If you want to save statistics manually, follow these steps:
- select any test and click Edit button
- in the Test Poperties dialog click Ok button (without any changes in test parameters)
- use menu File->Save to save test list
If "Auto save TestList after any changes" option is enabled, you may skip 3rd step.
Regards
