I noticed that sometimes (1 out of 20) my alert emails are not send out...
the log show this :
10/12/2004 9:01:38 Error: Cannot send e-mail to xxxxx@icorda.be; yyyyyy@icorda.be. SMTP component not connected
I have configured 2 mailservers, 1 local server and the other the relay server of the provider.
I tried to swap the primary and secondary, but the problem is still there.
Can I activate advanced logging on the smtp actions ?

Looks like server unexpectedly terminates connection...
The only advanced logging HostMonitor provides - SendMail popup window. Could you setup some test item to send many e-mails and check log in the popup window (e.g. ping 127.0.0.1 with "Reverse alert" test option and "Repeat: until status changes" option of the action)?
