Hello to everybody,
i'm testing some interfaces on a bintec router with snmp. these tests are in one folder called "Bintec". The tests are scheduled to run every 10 minutes. The problem is, that after every run of the tests, nearly half of the interfaces' status is unknown. If i refresh a single test manually the result is ok. Could there be a problem with many snmp tests at the same time ?
Host-Mon 4.74 is running on WinXP SP1 with latest patches. The system is P4 / 2GHz with 512 MB RAM
greets,

May be some bug in mgmtapi.dll... Try to use RMA, it could be installed on the same HostMonitor's system. RMA does not use mgmtapi.dll and can work correctly on any Windows system.
Another possible solution: try to replace mgmtapi.dll, take it from Windows 2000 SP4. But be carefull, make backup copy.
Using RMA is more safe in this case.
Regards
